I think this really cool. It shows not to limit yourself. I know this is an extreme rare case for this to happen but the message is point on with you never know what will happen within reason.

I am trying to show the accomplishments someone can do without an ableist view.

A few years ago I wrote a short article for Wikipedia about her - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karin_Muraszko
Some of her patients have been active members of this forum in the past

Really? I wonder what their opinion is of her? Do they like her as their doctor?

Put her name in the search box at the top of the page. She is mentioned in 14 different topics going back seven years.

I listened to her speak in Minnesota this summer at the Spina Bifida Association conference. Very articulate and matter of fact. It is neat that she's able to do that. I had always wondered about sterilizing the wheelchair. She explained it, and her garb is shown in that video.

I am going through U of M to deliver my little girl next month who has been diagnosed with SB and I'm really hoping to meet her! I think her story is very inspirational. I meet with a neurosurgeon on the 22nd of September for the first time. Our little Isabel was just diagnosed last month. Can't believe she will be here next month. I can't wait to hold my baby!
