Languages

We have a new member who doesn't appear to be able to write in English (Ibrahim from Turkey).
This has got me wondering what languages besides English our current active membership can muster?
So I thought we could make a list.
(I will collate and maintain a "master list" as additions are made.)

Afrikaans - fluent.
Dutch - basic reading only, can't speak or write it.

I used to be able to read German, but sure wouldn't want my life to depend on it now!

I speak fluent German (schwabisch dialect) but can only read it well enough to barely get by.

I can read Swedish enough to get by, but not Spanish or French.

I can read and write Parisian French, but can't speak it for the life of me. I can, however, mostly get by in Cajun French. But I can't read or Cajun French so I guess it all balances out.
