Ok I have had enough of my kids this month. Erin has had 3 UTIs, 2 needing I.V antibiotics, Rory my 7 yr old has had 2 ear infections, Leah my 8 yr old sprained her thumb and was in a cast for 2 weeks and the day after she came out of that Hana my 9 yr old got thrown off her horse and has broken her collar bone, and bruised her whole right side!! So I say stop the bus I want to get off please (maybe I could trade them in!!). I keep asking my husband why we had children and he is still to come back to me with an answer. I love them to bits but sometimes you can only take so much. I am sometimes scared to go to work as I'm not sure what will be waiting for me when I get home (LOL). Ok I have had my rant, I need to go to bed and maybe when I wake up it will all have been a dream.(pigs chance in hell?):connie_mini_lalalal

Ha Ha... aren't kiddies fun! My Mom used to say "you just wait til you have kids"....Well she was right! Through lots of trials and tribulations, tons of apprehension, worry and downright anger we finally got through it.Our kiddies are adults now,out on their own, their own kiddies, peace and quiet finally!
Well...not quite so,the worry is still there, are they going to make it in these difficult times, how will they fare. They'll always be our kiddies. It's interesting to now see them go through what we went through.

Before you know it they'll be all grown up and out of the house and you'll wonder where the time went...really.

Our daughter (25) and her brood of 3 (ages 1.5,3 and 5) are stopping by on Thursday for a visit before she moves out of town for better job related prospects. Our boy (21) has been living out of town for a little while now. :-(

I keep telling my mum its part of my job description to do things like that. She just smiles and says just you wait.

Yeah my mom said the same thing. She was so right. I am now paying for everything i ever did as a kid lol. It does go by so fast mine is 12 years old and I have 6 more years before he is grown. I have no doubt he will be the kid that can't wait to move out asap. That is ok because i raised him to be independent.
There have been a few times that i was wanting the bus to stop as well!!

me of all the times he used to sit in E.D with me when I was a kid, and said they couldn't wait for us to grow up, but then we grew up too fast. True!! I have just taken Erin in for a blood test as since her last lot of antibiotics she has been breaking out in welts everytime she scratches or rubs her skin, doc is wondering if maybe her liver has been upset by the antibiotics!! Hana is feeling much better and will be back at school next week (yippee). I had to drag Leah to school this morning as she didn't think it fair that Hana got to stay home (ggggrrrr), she is very fortunate that I very rarely lose my temper, but it was close.:arrgh:

I'd definately work outside the home if I had 10 children. I have only 4, two are grown up and only 2 at home. I miss going to work, I'm sick of picking up the house all day and it still looks trashed after just 10mins into making supper. You go girl!!! How do you do it?

Bcain I have a very organised husband (who unfortunately can't cook) and he now works part time so I can work, having spent the last three years studying to be a nurse it is so great to be in the work force and helping people, I have wanted to do this all my life. And yes it is great to escape the mother role for a while!!
