If you tell us where you live someone might be able to figure our what "dla" means.

Ahem, Dodger - Location: Liverpool, England.

Any of our UK people know what DLA means?

Oh -- and don't be afraid to ask the doc what it is! (Or one of his staff). They forget that their lingo can sound like a foreign language to us regular folks.

DLA...Disability Living Allowance

More info about it here...

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/DisabledPeople/FinancialSupport/DisabilityLivingAllowance/DG_10011925

and Child Benefit online service from that page found here...

http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childbenefit/online.htm

I'm hoping that is what you're looking for?
