Infertility

Hi,
I was wondering if any other female with Spina Bifida had any fertility problems. I'm 32 yrs old who has 5 miscarriages. I have no children. So I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem with miscarriages. I now haven't had my period for one year. The gyne said there is know problem. So, I'm going for a second opionion on friday.

It never hurts to get a second opnion. I went to the national confrence for SB this year and was in a siminar about sexuality. In that siminar i learned that women with SB are just as firtile as any other woman. Usually the infertility problem is in males with SB. (I am just stating what i heard in siminar) As far as miscarrages first let me say i am so sorry you have had to go through that. It could be a problem that is or is not SB related. Has any doctor told you why they thought you may have miscarried so many times?
