Congratulations! You must be very excited. It's a bit late and I'm not sure it you'll read this before you have your baby. I did not get to hold my daughter for a couple of days due to the extensive plastic surgery done to close her hole. My daughter's was large which is certainly not the case for everyone. My daughter stayed in the hospital for 2 entire weeks.
Hope everything goes well!

Congrats!!!!!!!!! I am sure that you will already have your baby by the time you read this. Well that is unless you were like me and it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to sleep i was so excited.
I have myleo with no shunt and i was in the hospital for 17 days. Of course take into concideration that was in 1977!!!!!
Good luck i am sure everything will be fine

Congrats!
Do you have a clear idea of the location of his lesion? It is a useful indication of the possible extent of his paralysis. Lets hope his HC settles down soon. Clubbed Feet are a relatively trivial "side issue" now so don't waste too much energy on it.
I hope you are being as forceful as necessary to go around, over or through anyone who has delusions of limiting your access and contact with him while he is in hospital. Don't let anyone push you around and ask questions!

hes L4-S3 but i have no idea what that means. They say he has movement up to his knees but we havent really seen him move his ankles but he folds his knees all the way. he also just got his shunt put in this morning. it doesnt look so bad but i still hate seing the little bump on his head. They finally put him on his back they've had him on his back since he was born.

Congratulations on your new baby!
My daughter is L3-L4. She can feel all the way down to her knees, but nothing below them. Sometimes her ankle or toe will move on its own, but she cannot make them do it. You never know.
Enjoy this special time!
