I'm not sure exactly how bad that is....i know its not normal for sure and its bad but not how bad. Will she have mental problems? The doctors just say she could but then she could not.....what do you guys think or what have you expeirenced?
I don't know anything about specific measurements, sorry! But if you are worried, keep pushing the docs for better explainations.

How old is she?
I dont know about levels, but most children are average, try not to worry about this, I feel what ever is ment to be, is ment to be. you are just going to make yourself sick with worry, and a lot of the times the worry was all for nothing. huggggsss

Blondie,
Our baby has a high fluid level as well. The doctors mentioned it but don't seem to be overly concerned. Again, prognosis can be so varied. We were basically told last week our child had a good chance at being mentally handicapped based on the brain ultrasound then "opps" we miread the info everything is ok. If it helps the fuid readings can go up or down during pregnancy. Can this contribute to issues? It could but from what I have read this is normal thus the requiring of putting a shunt in to releive the pressure at birth.
Have you looked into the MOMS study?

Consult to another doctor, to get a second opinion for your upcoming baby.
