October is Spina Bifida Awareness Month

Are you doing anything to promote awareness of spina bifida this month? In the past I have gone into my boys classrooms and talked about what sb is and how it affects C. I have also bought spina bifida awareness shirts and when I was a board member in Arizona we made pins for all the members.

This year I re-opened the board. :p

This sneaks up on me every year. OK, my one thing was that I wrote an article on the net for new parents. I will link here to it when it is published. Is anyone else promoting sb this month besides being a walking/rolling billboard, lol?

i dont work... so i usually have alot of time on my hands. is there anything i can do to help out?

It is a national event so you can contact your chapter and see what they are doing. Since I don't get too involved in the SBAA, I have chosen something on my own to do each year.

hi my daughter due on the 1.04.09 has sb it came as a huge shock but i would like to be able to get involved in any fundraising and in the spina bifida awareness month but i havent got a clue how to go about it can you help??

im 23 yrs old and this will be my 1st child ive got quite a good insight to spina bifida since learing my daughter has the condition, now i would like to be able to help others like her and also help other mothers in my shoes
