Hello everyone!

Does anybody tried using a Coloplast Peristeen (http://www.coloplast.com/Products/UrologyAndContinenceCare/Peristeen/Pages/Peristeen.aspx) or similar device, and if you use one, how it is work for you?

I've found some mentions about this topic here, but that's not enough - it would be nice to know about your personal experience and noted pros and contras.

Thank you in advance. And sorry for my lame grammar, by the way :)

I use a similar device.
It took some time to figure out the right volume and schedule.
I have been using it successfully for over 20 years.
A common problem for beginners seems to be not using enough water. It works best if you use about 20cc per kg or 10cc per pound bodyweight. I weigh about 70kg so I use 1400cc. I use it twice a week.

Also take care to get the temperature correct - too cool and you get cramps, too hot can cause serious internal injury. It must be within a few degrees of body temperature.

Hello I use it since 18 month now. It works realy good. I never had a serious accident. The positive element is that you can use it everywhere. I use it 1 to another day and it takes between 25 and 40 Minutes the get the final result. I need 700-800 ml of handwarm water.

Sorry for my bad english, i am from Berlin, Germany.
Feel free ti contact me per PM if you like to get moore informations.
