update on Bella

Well, first I wanted to thank everyone for responding to my last post it did help me feel better. Well, I finally got my due date it will be May 11 yay. I'm very excited about that. We just got another ultrasound done on 4-20-2010 Bella is 34 weeks and her head is now measuring 40 weeks and the fluid has gone from 3 to 4.02 cm so I'm trying not to freak out about that. But I was really happy because we saw her move her little feet we always see her move her legs but not just her feet so that made me really happy. I will be so happy when this is all over and I have her in my arms. But thanks again everyone.

Good to know its going so well - no surprises is good. Don't worry about the hydrocephalus - 4cm is not that serious. A shunt will be put in if/when its needed.

Not long to go now! My daughter had hydrocephalus in pregnancy too and a shunt wasn't inserted until she was 2 weeks old. That's great news that she has moved her feet, she seems to be doing really well and she's not even born yet! I'm sure you just cannot wait until you meet your little girl :-)

Wow, she will be here before you know it. I am so glad that you got to see her move her feet. I know how exciting something like that can be. Don't worry to much about the hydro, it had us worried to death too. Our baby had a shunt put in when she was 4 days old, she did fine. She is 14 months now and doing great.

really dont worry about the hydro just enjoy the rest of the pregnancy.. by the way her moving her feet is a big thing for a SB baby so just thank god for that and worry about the rest when is time to do so. take it one day at a time and "dont worry about tomorrow if you can't do anything about it today". you will see is not as bad as you imagine it right now, time goes by really fast and in no time you will have gone through the hard part of this.
