We've been clean for 5 days now :Banane21: Notice how I say "we" I'm taking credit for all the work I've done. I know her body functions as well as my own.

We cath every 3-4 hrs and she stays dry from that. We have been doing the bowel program for 3wks, and we're on day 5 of perfectly clean and dry!

I bought her the cotton training panties, there'sjust a little padding there just in case.

I'm doing the happy potty dance here :Banane21:, it is so freeing not to have to worry about her skin breaking down. And cotton undies will be so much cooler to wear in the hot summer weather, (the whole 4-6wks we get here in upstate NY).

and you should take credit! I'm amazed at all the research and work you and the other Mom's do to give your kids a good head start on life.

Since joining the forum I now actually realize the hard work my Mom went through to rear me.

!!!!!!!!!! My Hat's off to all of You !!!!!!!!!!!!

That's wonderful, bcain!! :Banane21:

I agree with Gymp. I'm constantly amazed at what the mommies on this forum goes through and does for their children. And always with such hope and happiness and positive attitudes.

I always thought her diapers were dry in between, but I guess not. So as Smoop suggested I put a panty liner in the panties, just in case. She's happy now. I guess when the back end is figured out, we'll move on to figuring out the front conduit.

Today pantyliner stayed dry I did cath every 2- to 2-1/2 hrs. because I was home.

She's a dickens of a child lately, she runs away whenever I call her to come. She thinks its cute or funny. I've been scolding her, and then praising her once she finally comes without me pulling or carrying her.

Lil Lilly does the same thing!!! She runs and hides in the closet like we are playing hide and seek.. funny part is that she hides in the same closet, same corner of the closet every single time, and laughs like a crazy kid everytime I get her...

So how is the bowel program going?? Still a success?

So far I'm pleased with the bowel program. I'm just a little worried that she still poops little balls. Before doing enema program, I'd immediately up the dose of laxative to bring the consistency softer. But now I don't know what I'm doing! Oh I''m going to post a new thread.... But over all it's been a great relief to have her clean. She's getting a nasty rash already from the contrast enema causing dirrhea. We'll be back to our "Emmy" routine tomorrow.
