Well, we live in Las Cruces, we go to Albuquerque for most of my SB related things, (which is 3 1/2 hours away.) well...

We had to get there by 9 am to pick up my new wheelchair..we get there wait 10 minutes for the appt (which was actually good haha) then after we get in the appt. they bring the wheelchair out, (I - a 17 year old male..) had chosen the color red , well the one they had waiting for me was BRIGHT purple. We told them I had chosen red..theyre response was I knew a 17 year old male would not have chosen this color lol. so she called the manufacturer, told them of the mix up. theyre response : can't he just take it? she told them no. so now we drive home without the chair.....they will ship it to us when it gets done.....(if it had been any color that was darker i would have just settled haha..but I really dislike purple haha.) (luckily I only need it for going out of the house.)

sorry for my rant but had to get it off my chest haha

That sucks. Yea, I can tell you I see it a lot. There is a Quickie color which I am not sure they make anymore, but on the color pallate they give us it looks blue. One of our sales guys made the mistake of calling it blue. Someone ordered it and it actually was purple. I'm talking nothing like the picture we have, bright purple. Might have been the same color you ended up getting...lol. Unfortunately, the chair then has to go back and take another 4 weeks to get back in and assembled again. It sucks, but really isn't the fault of the store that ordered it for you. Lucky for the company I work for it has only happened once that I know of. We usually have a chair of each color in stock, just to show people that come in. If not, then they send them to me and I can kind of explain the color. A few of my friends at work and I have other colors we like to call them ie petobismol pink...lol. The quickie pallates aren't that good at describing the colors.

Ya, Lol quickie is the exact same company for mine to haha, the person at the wheelchair place, said the exact same thing about the colors to HAHA, she kept her old color pallete the so we could see the actual colors and compare them. Hopefully we will know more soon.

Edit : This time I Ordered Candy Red, which the old one pallete looks cool, the new one which the person who helped order it said it looks more like the old one and actually had a sample in stock for me to see :)
