Hi my name is Jackie 43 yrs old with Spina Bifida.
I just got a new KAFO brace and I was wondering does anyone know where to buy shoes for this kind of brace for under $100.00?
I am on disability and can't really afford expensive shoes but I will if I have to.
Also does any other adult on this site have a urostomy and having problems with the pouches?

sophia uses crocs of all differnt colors on her braces because after you struggle to put them on the first few times they become strtched in just the right way shriners hospital told me of a company called Answer 2 shoes that make sneakers for about 35 bucks good luck.. oh wide shoes work better

Yup, I have AFO's and wear skater shoes too...not too expensive...I wear a kids 5 so it's even cheaper. I wear DC Skate Shoes as they are wide enough and have more toe room, plus they can take the wear and tear and great grip!

I wear either Nike or Sketchers wide shoes. Unless I need a special dress shoe, I don't buy the orthotic shoes. They are too expensive.

Hi, I'm Mike. I'm 56 y/o with SB. I use an AFO. I wear New Balance, with a velcro closure. Any wide sneaker with a velcro closure will work fine.
