Hi Everyone,

Was jusst searching the internet and came across this site. I have SB and am 26 years old. I've been to other sites for SB but wanted to try this one.

i am the mother of a 22 year old daughter who had a great 15 years of basically great health. at 15 she had back surgery and from them on our life has been hell. She got an infection on the rods and she was in major complications for almost 2 years then she started having weird symptoms and they kept replacing her shunt over 3 years 5 times, finally someone figured out it was chairi and did surgery and found out she needed a low pressure valve shunt and she began to feel great again. WE GOT OUR LIFE BACK. she had a shunt revision this summer and little by little she is having symptoms again. after a trip on a plane she has felt HORRIBLE again. I am sick, sick about his. I don't think I can go through years of her being dizzy and sick again. I have to be strong for her, but I am tired and so angry........love a very sad mother.

hi as a mother of a son , with sb, I can feel your distress, we have all been there. I know its hard seeing your child sick, with the bad always comes good. I pray things will be ok. if you need to talk I am here
